Alexandria Hotel
Winter 2025 | 10 Weeks
Original Concept
In my most recent commercial studio, I was tasked with designing a hotel in Alexandria, Egypt. The project required a concept inspired by the local religion, and I drew inspiration from Sunni Islam, which emphasizes surrender, as well as Alexandria’s diversity and sense of unity.
Concept Implementation
This led me to create a design centered around flowing, non-rigid shapes. I also incorporated a large, merging form of two distinct shapes to symbolize the coming together of Alexandria’s diverse elements, creating something even more unique and beautiful

The layout of the hotel rooms was designed with a strong emphasis on the view, which is why all the furniture is angled towards the window.
