After a year of studio practice, I was assigned to design a home for the Patel couple. This project emphasized mastering key design skills, including space planning, furniture layouts, reflected ceiling plans, and elevations, with a strong focus on precision.

For the Patel couple, we were tasked with specifying as much as possible for every space in the house. This was a valuable opportunity to practice critical thinking about what needs to be selected by the designer, as well as to consider how all the elements come together to create a cohesive design.
